It's a nice place,
It just somehow happens that I am a misfit among misfits o__O
I believe in following origional cultures, whereas others around me insist that I am "doing it wrong" because they follow eachother.
I dress more like John Lydon than anything,
and for some reason people hate me for it. I get drinks thrown at me out of moving car windows...
And then I just figure I might as well be hated by everybody because at least then I know what to expect. But there are many good bands, literary thinkers, I just find that they are more hidden, and closed minded at times.

Your account is funny. I too go about hated and do things that I know for what doing I would be hated... Canada is an interesting motif. I like the music that comes from there. NP, destroyer, Tender Forever,AArcade fire,etc. It speaks well for individuality in Canada. Also I read a lot about innovative architecture, and there seems to be a lot of progressive thinking there, observing what books are published thither...
